What would you chose between Pioneer KRP-500A and Sony 52x4500 ?

This is a no brainer pioneer, but you may want to get a move on they will be hard to come by soon,or save a little cash and go for the pioneer 5090, either one is a stunning set and the 500 does look nice with seperate tuner box Enjoy

Yep. For my money it'd be the Pioneer.

tested both these sets side by side and the pioneer has the better picture , and its slimmer (63mm) and better looking , and the media box is really helpful in eliminating messy cables

had mine 2 weeks and love it

Pioneer. But then I would say that, I've got one myself. And as the earlier poster said, get your skates on: they're around for a while yet, but when they're gone, they're gone.
