Well, a 32" one anyway. Watching mostly SD for starters, and no AV setup so would like it to sound good off its own back. Is there any reason why I shouldn't just get the Sony KDL32W4000?

And has anybody got JL to price match anybody else (£780, 5 year guarantee, £600 1 year guarantee everywhere else)?

Jhon no good for you be i was looking at some NAD TV's before the hols back in sweden and they would do the job you want but they are an odd ball and are only available in the scandics. they are made by a high end european Screen maker.

I keep thinking of the 32" would be a great upgrade for the bedroom

Andrew Everard:See, why didn't you just ask Cloughie in Pizza Express the other day...?

Cos I didn't know it was him, and contrary to received opinion, I'm not that much of a nutter to go up to strangers and say "so, should I just get the Sony?", which normally just gets me stared at.

If you can hang on until the end of the week (or sooner, as you're a subscriber), our new February issue has a Supertest of 32in TVs - including said Sony....

I can - I'm only getting one if I'm in work next week (which is currently a 'no')
