Cheap pre amp for linn lk85

I am trying to save money for better source ( maybe linn sneaky ds ) therefore I am on the budget. I bought Linn lk85 for £150 very lately and now I am looking for pre amp. All Linn's pre amps will cost me well over £150 so I thought I might go for different brand then Linn. Do you think it's a good idea? Am I going to get satisfying sound from cheaper pre amp?

By the way £150 for lk85 is that good price? The guy I bought from has two more for sale so I could make use of this opportunity...

humm. i dont know about the price for the lk85's iv never looked at them. linn have there own forum. you could try there. they will most likley recomend linn 🙂 .... i have the wakonda and am happy with it. sorry i cant help more.

That's what I did however I decided to ask for advice on this form as "Linn Clan" could be limited to "Linn world" 🙂
