Hi, I have an old Pioneer PD-207 CD Player which is getting a little old now.

Having recently bought a Yamaha AX759SE Home Cinema Amp I need something that will work well with this amp.

My possibles at the moment are either a NAD 515BEE, Marantz CD6002 or the Yamaha CDX-497.

My question is which one of these would be best or is there another player I should be looking at that is less than £300 (preferably around £200 to £250).

Not keen on Cambridge Audio, both the brand and the looks.

Any other suggestions? Have been looking at the NADs, Arcam's etc, basically anything up to £300 really.

NADs won't let you down. They're top notch and money well spent IMHO. Happy hunting!

The cambridge audio stuff is really good quality, very sturdy and better built than most kit near its price range or higher
