CD player to suit rotel amplification??

I've got £600-£1000 to spend on a decent cd player, new of second hand. I like a clean dynamics with decent bass, responce rather than a warm sound.

Any suggestions??

I have arcam RC971 & rb971 biamped with Arcam CD192, using proac tablette 2000 speakers sounds great. CD192 was on sale at sevenoaks brighton for £499 plus £20 delivery if needed

with the forward sounding rotel i would go with a warmer sounding cd player. mf x ray, wonderful player.
