With only 300 quids allocated for a hifi upgrade, I am looking for some suggestions. 60% of music comes from CDs, 30% from Vinyls and 10% from streaming. Should I be looking towards a straight forward source upgrade like Marantz CD6005 or a DAC like Arcam rDAC to sit in the middle of my current cd player and amp?

If most of your listening comes from CD's then I say you should buy a CD player. Which one is up to you.
Can you try your CDP through your D1 DAC ?
im not sure a £300 player will show a signicant improvement on what you have (if any).
You ou can buy a lot of used CDs for that money.

I wasn't sure of the number of inputs but at least by trying it, you should know if adding a dac is worth it.
you dont say what sort of equiptment rack or support you have
