has anyone had an issue with a new cd disc before were the song is playing and the sound drops out for a sec ? i just got this new manowar kings of metal double cd version which i ordered from germany but the album sounds amazing apart from one song were the sound drops about 3 times which i have never come across before . is this a cd qualty problem

I've had it on copied discs - usually in the player in the car - works fine on the 'home' player.

Give the disc a clean and maybe the lense in your player..

hi i got a new cd player so its not hardwere as its all new it must just be a issue with the cd its self it looks like i got to order it from somewhere so i do not get the same batch with the same issue but never come across that before all the years i have been buying cds

Buy a lens cleaner - an essential piece of kit for any device with a lense.

Even if it's a 'dry' clean - you can pick them up from a 99p shop.

that's not bad service from the place i got it from they will send me a new copy free of charge and i do not have to send the old copy back to them that's top service in my book which i am amazed by

Was it from Dodax based in Germany ?

I bought a cd from them before and even though no issue with disc itself, the case was smashed up. Dodax sent out a replacement cd, and as with you, no requirement to return the original. Excellent service.

Are you talking volume drop-outs and is it a remastered CD by any chance? If so then yes I have a couple that have volume drop-outs all the way through. Can be heard easily through headphones and at higher volumes through speakers. Many have put this phenomenon down to the audio engineer falling asleep at his desk - he/she should be taken out the back and shot is the opinion of the majority.

yes that's right dodax sounds about right very good service it's a shame we are not like this in the uk but glad they changed it I just hope it does not have the same error on the next one

hi yes it is a remastered cd but I read somewhere the band went back to the studio and recorded the kings of metal album as the same album came out in 1988 which I have but I wanted the silver anniversary edition which I have just got because here in the uk this cd would of cost me £20 but I got it from Germany for about £8 new which I thought was a bargain . The is issue I have is on track 3 in 3 different places in this song for about a second at a time the sound drops to nothing I have listened to all of the cd now and it only happens with one song it's weird.
