Fragile, inconvenient and low quality: Why are cassettes making a comeback?

For a supposedly obsolete music format, audio cassette sales seem to be set on fast forward at the moment.

It's nothing but a trend trip, and pretty insignificant to the vast majority of music lovers. It was a flawed format, chiefly useful for its portability both on foot and on the road, and although it could sound good using the right blank tapes and the right cassette deck, it's still compromised.

it has made a comeback..... Because some groups are making these available as a format
Not saying it will ever take off.

I have to admit i made some mix tapes the other day from diffrent Albums it was fun i need to get some new blank metal tapes.
