can the forums be searched?

I'm new to this forum - is it searchable?

Yes, but you'll have to go back to the search box on the Homepage and type in what your looking for there. A bit inconvenient, I know, but we'll be adding a search box to the Forums pages very shortly. The development work has been done (in fact I was testing it this afternoon and it all worked fine), so we hope to implement the upgrade as soon as we can.

Now that's good news: a search box for the forums appeared yesterday afternoon. Works, too.

indeed - and if it looks a little odd (ie is perched on its own top-left), clear your cache and you should see it loud and proud in the yellow bar at the top of the Forums page.
