What are the differences between the Buffalo Terastation, abd Buffalo Linkstation NAS drives.

The linkstation appears to do what the terastations do, but the linkstation is also an itunes server. However the Terastation is a lot more expensive than the linkstation -

For example on Play.com the price of the 8TB linkstation is £850, yet the 8TB terastation is £1300.

So i am a bit confused why to me the linkstation seems like the better product and is also much cheaper - can anyone help?

The difference is due to the Terrastation being RAID with multiple drivers and the Linkstation has only one drive.

RAID means redundant array of independent (or inexpensive) discs, so more than one disc is used to store and back up data.
