Can not hear very quite passages in a film when top end overall volume is set

I don't know if it is just me, but when watching some boxsets on Netflix in 5,1 I adjust the volume for the top end overall volume, and all is fine except for when they speak very quietly in the film, I can not increase the volume as it would be too loud overall, and I don't want to manually change volume all the time while watching a film obviously

I have a 2.1 Yamaha sound bar which works very well SR C20A

Have you noticed this problem on some films

Is their a "speech enhancement" or "night viewing" option on your soundbar which may assist? I (generally) have both switched on when watching television.

Yes I have speech enhancement on, and after the first reply in this thread and having talked to my friends just think it must be in the way the films are recorded
