Can I use a Yamaha WXAD-10 with kef lsx to avoid app?

The kef lsx app is notoriously poor. Could I connect my Yamaha to them and get around the problem?
Are the 2 devices compatible??

Yes.
You want the 'aux in' socket on the KEF, which requires a stereo 3.5mm jack plug.
You've got a choice of connectors out of the Yamaha.
I'd always choose RCA over mini jack myself - so a twin RCA plug to 3.5mm stereo plug cable is what I would use to connect Yam to Kef.

Great. I already own the wxad-10 and think I’ll own lsx pretty soon. Iv been waiting to see if a new version gets released soon as it was highly rumoured last year but all seems quiet on that from now.
