I am enjoying Qobuz streaming from an iPhone on my Cambridge Audio Melomania 1s, but am I right in thinking the Bluetooth AAC connection doesn’t handle High Res audio?
From what I have read the answer seems to be yes.
"The AAC audio format supports audio quality up to 24-bit 96kHz, but in the Bluetooth space we are limited slightly below CD quality at best."
That is correct. AAC is not HiRes. As far as I know, APTX HD will take you closer to CD quality.
Basically you use bluetooth for convenience rather than quality.
