Can an LCD tc be used for a computer monitor?

I'm installing a flat screen tv in our kids' play room (soon to be teenager rm!) - so need to put the obvious TV and computer in there. But to keep things minimal (and costs down!) I wondered if a small LCD would double up as a monitor?

As long as it has the right connections and suitable resolution then yes. Depending on the computer you are probably looking for a VGA connection, maybe DVI.
