The Melomania P-100 does give you wired option mode, which is useful if you want to switch from wireless to get a better sound. Cambridge makes them well.

I have been toying with the idea of upgrading my Hifiman planars with Hifiman HE600 (latest new lighter PM design) or Arya Organic but I need to take car to garage, if think this has effectively torpedoed my plans! 🙂
