Hi, I'm curious about how the Cambridge Audio One compares with the Denon DM37DAB - especially in regards to the accuracy of the volume control. The Denon increases far too rapidly for my enjoyment.

Does anyone know if the CA One has finer/more accurate control over volume - esp at lower levels?

Also, would the Cambridge Audio sound alright with the Tannoy F1s? I'm finding those to be quite sufficient with the Denon.

Thanks!

Hello simel

Did you get a reply fron Denon regarding the volume control ?

I am not totally happy with my dm37 and may change it within the next year or so, I know the arcam solo mini has a gradual volume control, it is 25W/Channel and has a scale from 0-75 (where the dm37 is 30W/Channel and has a scale from 0-45)

Would you consider spending more money on the arcam solo mini as this system may be of interest to me if it is "significantly" better than the dm37 which reports suggest it probably is ?

Hi garyjos - no reply from Denon yet, so I'm exploring other options meanwhile. Cool, haven't tried the arcam myself - little outside my budget unfortunately
