Cable Quandary

Hi all,

I recently upgraded from a budget system to an AVI system, comprising AVI Lab Series cd player, integrated amp and Duo speakers. I followed AVI's advice and didn't spend a lot on expensive interconnects or speaker cable however, while the sound is clear, undistorted at volume, with a good tonal balance I'm not convinced it's performing to its full potential. My cables are Gotham IC and multistrand copper ofc speaker cable with screw on type banana plugs.

Would a cable upgrade give me a more dynamic sound and if so what cables would you recommend?

so you have a clear undistorted system with good tonal balance,what's the problem,why not let everything bed in a bit longer especially the speakers and then come back in a months time and let us know how it sounds then.
