CABLE PROBLEMS

Hi.

Can anyone help me. I have just bought a QED HDMI performance lead (the new version) to connect my dads new Bluray Sony BDPS360 to his new Sony KDL32W5500 TV. The guy in the shop has said that as the tv is 100 Htz as opposed to the 50 Htz version that we originally went for then I need a better cable that can handle the 100Htz better. Is this correct or will I not be able to tell the difference.

Any advice is appreciated.

the cable you've bought should be fine. its a 5 star product and will do the job

if you're really not sure ask the guy if you can return the cable if not completely satisfied - thats generally the best way to go with HDMI cables anyway

Absolute nonsense, he does'nt know what the hell he's talking about !! The QED Performance is a top notch HDMI lead you stick with it mate...

Indeed. I'd also never visit that shop again since either (a) the guy doesn't know what he's talking about or (b) he's attempting to take advantage of the current debate on upgrading HDMI cables and their worth by giving you false information.

Either way it's not good.

I agree with the Prof that you shouldn't go back to that shop - he was obviously trying to stiff you.
