Cable problem

I've been sent some speaker cable erroneously (on my part). But I cannot return it, my question is can I still use it? I have one Marantz Amp but Bi Wire cable with 4 terminated ends on each side (4 banana for the amp and 4 spade for the speaker). I am led to believe this type of cable is typically used for bi amping, using two amps. Is there any way I can still use this cable with one amplifier or am I going to have to buy new bi wire cable with just 2 terminated ends at the amp side.

Any help would be really appreciated thanks.

You could either use it with the amp ends doubled-up (assuming the connectors can cope), OR very carefully tape over an unused pair each end use the remaining pair as non-biwired.

Alternatively, if the 4 cores are visible, i.e. not in a sheath, you might be able to separate the wires into two stereo pairs. However, do I deduce you can bi-wire at the speaker end? If so, then doubling up at the amp should be fine.

If the connectors are not suitable, then selling on ebay or through a magazine small ad might be best.

Ideally, it would help to see a picture, or a link to it to be sure, and model of speaker. If you short out your amp, you won't thank me!
