Wall ounting my Tv this weekend and I have bought an aluminium cast cover to hide the cable against the wall.

It will only be the Power lead and HDMI running through it, but may I get some interference with them being close or should I not worry?

The jury is out on this one! What leads have you got going through? I think if you've got a reasonable lead on each side (say £30 on each) you'll be okay - not to say improvements can't be made but at least it won't spoil the enjoyment.

Hello Michael,

Indeed if a power cable is running parallel to any interconnect then it can induce currents into that interconnect thereby affecting the signal. If you can split your power and interconnect (keeping as far apart as possible) then this will help minimise any effect. If however you cannot keep them apart then ensure that both the power cable and interconnect are shielded as this will help significantly.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Darren

Thanks for your replys

Unfotunately I have had my hand forced, and now the TV is not getting wall mounted. Bloody new build flats with papar mache walls.
