Whilst fiddling about with blu takking the granite plinths as my wooden floor is not level, i noticed a very slight burble with my ear up close to the tweeters. if i move the cable around, it changes the volume, rather like those old indoor FM aerials on tuners from years ago. The "screen" bit of the cable doesn't appear to be having much effect....
