Just to update and conclude the thread. I updated mine this morning through the network option and its all working fine.

I have a similar problem with The Desolation of Smaug. The Battle of the Five Armies. My Pioneer BDP450 played them both. After watching The Five Armies non will now work. The Unexpected Journey plays fine. I just watched Star Wars III. The player is just refusing to pick up and load the discs. WTF has the Five Armies done? Just spent Thurs cleaning the discs.
