bw ds3 rear speakers

In a 5.1 system should the ds3 speakers be fixed to the rear wall or the side wall for movie listening ?........In a 6.1 system should the rear centre and rear surround all be on the rear wall ?....Hoping some-one can help...regards ....ian

I've struggled with this one myself over the years. In my original 5.1 setup, my Mission 78ds speakers were attached to the back wall and worked very well, but I think when you are upgrading to a 6.1 or 7.1 system, you need to look at having the surround rears to the side and back of you and the surround backs (be it one for 6.1 or two for 7.1) at the back of the room.
