Hi all, will need some light in the subject as hardwear is not my strong and nowadays every bit of PC kit will be outdated in 6 months time...

This laptop will be for my stepson to use for school and for some gaming as well (League of Legends).

The avaiable budget will be £500 (600€) give or take.

What should i be looking for regarding processors, video cart, sound cart... Etc...

Hi Outlaw, you should be looking for something that has a 15.4 1080 display, at minimum an Intel i3, 4-8GB ram, maybe a 256GB SSD. Now what I've spec'd there will do him justice, you don't need to go mental. If he's not fussed on an SSD get a regular spinning HDD and you could greatly increase the storage. But for the above with SSD, you're looking at £469 with Windows installed and £390 without. Here's that laptop just change the dropowns about.

When you're configuring the laptop you can chose to remove Windows, this will drop the price even further, you can then reinvest into the hardware or pocket the change. I've ordered from these guys before last year, getting another 2 from them for the kids for xmas this year.

Also here's the rest.
