Buy a Pany V10 or Sony 40Z5800 now or wait ???

I'm thinking of buying either a Panasonic 42V10 or Sony KDL40Z5800.. which do you think is the better one to go for ? Or is it now just best to wait until the new ranges of televisions are released (when is this likely to be ?)

We're expecting some models to become available in the spring, and others in the early summer. The World Cup will be a big opportunity for TV manufacturers to push new sets.

If you do decide to go for the 42V10 then it will be the best time to buy one as the replacement to the V series looks like it will be one of the new 3D sets, so price will be high, i dont think they will have a V series without 3D this year. Also very important notice, Panasonic are not having anymore 42V10's shipped into the UK, which means it will be soon discontinued, so if you decide to get one, buy one now and from a retailer that has them in stock!
