Previously posted looking to upgrade my present all in one system (sony dav dz500) with separates on a budget of £5-600. Unfortunately now need to look at dropping the budget down to £300 and therefore looking at all in ones again.

I have seen the sony ht-fs1300 which seems to fit my requirements - I will be using my ps3 for dvd's - does anybody have any thoughts on this option - will it be better than present system or are there better alternatives ?

I will also be connecting sky hd to the system.

Many thanks

Yamaha AV63+ or the Onkyo 506/Tannoy SFX package that prof' linked to at superfi would be a start, although I would look at the Onkyo 576 for the PS3 to benefit from HD audio imho. The Sony HT-DDGW800 is also worth a look and unlike the speakers on the HT-SF1300 system, the speakers can be changed at a later date. To be honest, I wouldn't class a £300 system as an upgrade so maybe hold off until you can release a few more beer tokens would be in advisable.
