budget speaker dilemma

please help im going to buy a pair of budget speakers to add to my sony micro system for the kitchen ive managed to get my choice down to three brands.

1:mission mx1 £149
2: tannoy mercury v1 £119
3: wafedale diamond 9.1 £99

now i know that any of the three will sound better than the supplied sony speakers.
but im also going to try them out on the end of my main hifi system and wondered which pair are likley to sound the best, i know that these are budget speakers and all three will have there limitations on the end of my midrange setup but im just curious to see how they will sound in my fairly small living room.

I've recently sold a spare pair of Monitor Audio BR1s. Just prior to posting I tested them on the end of my hi fi and was gob smacked. New pairs still crop up on bay for about £80. COME ON YOU IRONS !!!!!
