Sorry, didn't see your reply prof.

It's to connect the BD player (S350) to a plasma (Pana PX80).

In the end, I took the plunge and bought the QED from Play at £18 delivered. Even if it isn't the best around (or even between these 2) it's only £18.

I did see around Christmas time the LoPro around the £20 mark delivered so was quite curious if it were any good.
