budget av amp with pre-out?

I can get my hands on a Rotel RB-06 power amp that is on mint condition for about 100£. Im looking for a cheap av amp with a minimum of 3 hdmi inputs to use with that poweramp. As i wont use the amp part of the AV amp i dont care if its rubbish , but it has to deliver good sound via the pre-amp to the poweramp.

I will use it only for stereo but i need the digital oudio and hdmi inputs that only an av amp can offer.

As far as I know, the cheapest current AV amp with pre-outs is the £370 Yamaha 765. It has 4 HDMI inputs.

Did abit of research and found that aswell. I also think the smaller of the Marantz has pre-out. Any idea about how good the pre-amp part etc on that yamaha is? If all the parts that make the sound before its sent to the power-amp is rubbish then i bet the sound will be too

My sony cdp also has a variable output on the back controlled by the headphone amp volume control. Would that work as a preamp or would it cause some sort of disaster? hehe
