Hi I’m stuck between Marantz pm 6006 and onyko 9030 . Both are compatible with my Sony psx600 turntable but which is best for my Rogers ls55 or are there anything better out there under£350

I'd rate the Marantz over the Onkyo. The 9030 falls down on the bass a bit, and might struggle with the Rogers, if you want punchy bass. The PM 6006, especially is a great all rounder for the price, especially the re-tuned "UK" edition. And as you need a phono stage, that sort of limits your options... Unless you can get a secondhand amp (like my old A85, with the optional phono stage fitted).

Failing that look at secondhand PM6005 as there's not much in it between that and the PM6006. 6005 amp and CD player on eBay at the moment for £299. If you don't need digital inputs then the PM6004 is also identical and very cheap used.

good call - a second hand one would save a few quid...

Or get a 2nd hand roksan kandy it rated 125 watts rms per channel 8 ohms.
Used to have a marantz pm66se before the roksan aound wise the marantz lacks grunt has a fine midrange and sweet treble.
The roksan i have the kandy l3 version is more fuller sound and plus point u can bi amp it.
