BR Player Multi Zone advice

Hiya guys, I currently use a Panasonic BD220 BR Player and love it, it's a mid range priced one, so nothing majorly flash, but got really good reviews and I cannot fault it. I recently got the Blu Ray bug, and realised a lot of the movies I want are USA only, most are UK, but some I really want are USA, on checking a fair few of them are region locked :-(

So I am looking into a new BR Player, I don't want to pick up one of those cheap ones with a multi hack, I still want a really good BR Player, but with Multizone functionality. Here's my requirements:

Budget - £300

Brand - Would like a Panasonic again

Region - Play ALL DVD'S and ALL BluRays

Quality - Mid range player, not looking for a massive high end system

Some questions: Will these Multizone mods make the player die quicker? Also where do people buy them in the UK? (Link would be awesome).

I've never heard that multiregion mods shorten a player's life. There's no reason for that.

Is this the model up from what I have? BD220 is mine.

It's the replacement for 230 which was a replacement for 220.
