Bowers & Wilkins 685

Can these speakers play rockmusic like AC/DC, Metallica ? I own the B&W CM1, great speakers, but no rockers. My amp is a NAD 372.

Yes they can; i was listeing to AC/DC Live! last night and it sounded superb through my NAD C352 amp and B&W 685 speakers.

They'll be better with rock over the CM1's

My other halfs CM7's are good with rock but they dont sound as good as the 685's but they do go deeper (not much though).

I'd say a demo is needed but i dont think the CM5's would make that musch difference IMO

They can play anything. Superb speakers.

ok🙂 i already owns the b&w 608 sub, so maybe the 685 will fit better whit the sub also (
