I'm looking at various speakers at the moment and the B&W M1's are on the short list, one constraint I have through is the height of the shelf under my TV that the center speaker needs to sit on. Does anyone know the height of one of these when used with the table stand as a center (ie rotated through 90 degrees).

One of my alternatives are the Monitor Audio Radius which look to be the correct size to fit nicely on the shelf, anyone know if the come with any kind of feet for sitting on a shelf or are these mainly wall mounters?

Thanks, Dave............

Ha! That's the one configuration I don't have for my M1s! I have vertical-on-stands, and vertical and horizontal on the wall brackets, but not horizontal on the stand!

I'll do a measure up of the vertical-on-stands ones and give you my best estimate Dave.

EDIT: I reckon you're looking at around 6 - 6 1/2" Dave.

I had the same query with the M1s - a quick email to B&W got me the following:

M-1 unit - Vertical

230mm Height - 245mm when on plinth

128mm Width

152mm Depth - 172mm when on plinth

M-1 Horizontal

218mm Height @ Highest point

135mm Height @ Mid point

134mm Height @ Lowest point

214mm Wide

173mm Depth

M-1 on floor stand

1105mm Height on floor stand

Hope this helps...

Picked up and installed this afternoon. Fitted perfectly, sounds fantastic and even the wife likes it.

Win win all round, thanks again for your replies
