Boston Acoustics speakers !

Has anybody owned or heard VR2 or VR3 floors from Bostons ? pls suggest on their sound quality. thanx.

Not many people on here listen to american speakers on here, closest i can help you is i've been using a vr12 centre speaker (rather large) for 8/9 years now and its still working well. About a year or two after buying it i took it to a hifi shop and did a direct comparason with BW CDM Se centre..Verdict is with voices they sounded the same except that the vr12 had a deeper sound with male voices..The movie it was tested with was "Gladiator' and Russels voice was deeper and warmer sounding. but battle scenes etc there was no difference between the two..Best i can do..

thanx for reply, but i will be happy for a VR2 review from anybody, ok will Bostons go well with Cambridge cd and amp at least,thanx.

I have had the VR3 Boston speakers for about 2 years now. It's fantastic. I constantly think of upgrading my other equipments but never once the Bostons. A very good buy. Highly recommended.
