My work takes me away from hom a lot and I have, over the last couple of years, amassed quite a sizeable number flight loyalty points from which I can redeem all sorts of stuff.

This week I spotted both the Bose QC35 and Beo Play 7 in the catalogue and both are well within my points limit. I have not heard either so just wondered if there were any views on which would be the better freebie? They'd actually be great for air travel which I do a lot of.

Thanks :)

I don't think the H7 has noise cancelling, you need to go up to the H8.

Bose get a lot of stick on hifi forums but for travel environments they can't be beat. I've got the older versions of the quiet comforts and the noise cancelling is excellent. Good noise cancelling is essential on flights.

The QC35 (and prior versions) gets its hi-fi sound via the DSP that also does the noise canceling. I don't know that B&O does that - I suspect that they achieve their level of sound quality by building the earcups the way they do with their standard headphones.
