Hi,

I am looking to get my dad some replacement speakers for his birthday, budget up to approx £100, so am thinking 9.1, 902i, F1 or even just go for 9.0 and spend extra on cable. Anyway, they are going to be sat on a bookshelf right against a wall, so no gap at all, well 5-10cm I guess. Which would best suit this?

Musically I guess tends to be classical and spoken word via radio, matching with an older NAD amp

Thanks for any advice.

Ive had no experience of them but a lot of people on the forum rave about Q acoustics. The 2010 model suits your pocket and the magazine says they are easy to position so there should be no bass boom.

p.s the W 9.0s are fine speakers, really cheap at Richer sounds now, £40 i think. I have them for my surround sound setup.
