Question Blusound + Qobuz connect arriving = new life for node?

Hey all!

So, qobuz connect arrives next week!.. which is a long time behind competition. To that effect, I bought a Wiim ultra earlier this year as it has a USB out, so I can plug it to my DAC.

Now what I wonder, will it be worth taking the node out of the closet and put it back in the flow? To me, I feel it will only be a different OS, nothing else... Am I right? Or do we expect some kind of sound difference if implementation is slightly different?

I think both OS are okay - so I would like your opinion:

Same sound?
Ux advantage on either side?

Same sound?

I might previously have guessed that, via the same DAC, you would get the same sound until....
I bought a Wiim Ultra and compared it, digital out, with a Raspberry Pi, digital out via the same DAC.
Contrary to my expectation, there was a difference - if not one that everyone would necessarily immediately notice.

You will be able to compare and judge - but I reckon you could well hear a difference - albeit not a night and day difference.
