bluray region free?

Im looking into buying some new blurays, does anyone know if the ps3 will play region 1 blurays as some people on ebay are claiming, thanx

No such thing as Region 1 Blu-rays - they come in Regions A, B and C. Players sold in the UK are Region B, and will only play Region B discs and those made without region coding

Have a look on bluray.com for info on which titles are region free

You can also check Movietyme - they only publish information when they have tried and tested it, rather than just passing on info from sites that haven't physically checked.
