Got a total of 5 blu-ray films for the missus being:-

Sex & The City

My Best Friend's Wedding

Jerry Maguire

Marley & Me

What Women Want

Of course, she doesn't mind watching Casino Royale either. Any suggestions on decent films for my better half that I might find watchable too.

Thanks NT, I'll have a look at Stranger Than Fiction. Already got Pan's Labyrinth on HD DVD.

doubt you'll find ANY of those enjoyable!

My missus enjoyed "Up", "Wall:E", "Vicky Christina Barcelona", "Gran Torino", "The Reader", "Milk", "Starter for Ten", and "Juno" in the past 12 months (according to LoveFillum!).

EDIT: "ANY" related to your original list!

Brian123:Mona Lisa Smile and No Reservations.

Should've mentioned, if it's been released on HD DVD, probably got it (No Reservations). Not seen Mona Lisa Smile or know anything about it so I'll have a look at that. Cheers.

I haven't seen "Australia", but a girl I know joined a dating site and put her ideal man as "The Drover". Her first two dates where with overweight & bearded IT consultants, with bad breath....!

If it's any use, these are some of the 'chick flicks' I have bought for my Mrs on both formats:
Sex and the City
27 Dresses
Bride Wars (avoid at all costs)
Confessions of a Shopaholic
Grease
Dirty Dancing
Enchanted (excellent transfer)
Mamma Mia!
P.S. I Love You
The Proposal
The Ugly Truth
Atonement (HD DVD)
The Holiday (HD DVD)

Thanks Mentasm, will add Grease, Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia to my shopping list. I think from recollection, they can all be picked up fairly cheaply too.

Sex & The City, Enchanted and The Holiday all get regular viewing. We both got bored with Atonement after about 20mins and she fell asleep about half way through PS I Love You.

Well i watched Terminator 2 Skynet edition Blu-ray last night and really enjoyed it

But if your OH enjoys historical drama, the Blu-rays of the Cate Blanchett-starring Elizabeth and Elizabeth The Golden Age are just out, and look great. Some good deals on Play/Amazon on the pair, too
