Blu-ray recorders

Over on blu-ray.com,they have pictures of about 10 different blu-ray recorders,any idea when we may see these available or do you reckon they`re the ones on sale in Japan?Can`t see how they can get to the recordble stage when they can`t even get the blu-ray players sorted.

There've been Blu-ray recorders in Japan from the off, using BD-R/RE discs. But then there they have high-def TV systems you can actually record from.

WE only invented the TV in this Country but we cannot yet get an over the air HD transmission . Good old U.K

To be fair, I think the BD recorders in Japan record from satellite services.
