BLU-RAY orDVD

Hello,my question to you all is this?

Is it worth upgrading to blu-ray or stick with dvd but with a higher spec player.

As i have alot of dvd'sincluding region 1 discs and as far as i know i can't get a blu-ray player to play all regions either dvds or blu-ray.

Without having two machines which is not practical to me.Any suggestions welcome.

You can buy Blu-ray players that are multi-region for DVD playback. And as someone with a big DVD collection, you're probably a movie-buff - in which case, you'll love the extra insight Blu-ray gives you...
