Im getting the impresion that blu-ray seems to be getting the most problems. Not comparing quality or anything like that seems HD DVD has lesss problems and may the better option anyone agree?

Not bothered to be honest, just looking forward to the end of the 'scuffle' so that we can all just move forward.

Nads has the biggest sig in the world....ever!

I want the squabble to end. I use a PS3 for Blu Ray but I want to play some HD-DVD films as well. I WILL NOT buy a HD player until they support all sound formats and play all discs. In the future if both formats still survive I will buy a dual format deck, if they are good and worthy of purchase.

I would tend to agree, however didn't HD-DVD have problems early on?

I would have much preferred HD-DVD (Microsoft's HDi) as the winner instead of Sun Java you get on Blu-ray. To me, Java is bloatware and apparently more difficult to work with than HDi.

Blu-ray is still pretty immature as a format, so I expect things to settle down in 2008.
