I'm trying to connect my new Sony BDP-S760 Blu-Ray player to my Virgin Wireless network. I'm asked for the WPA key - what is this and how can I find it? All help appreciated!

It will have been supplied when you had the wireless network router installed - try looking underneath it or at the documentation sent by Virgin. It is probably a series of letters and numbers or a really obscure password, enter this into the Sony, exactly as it appears, it will be case sensitive.

This is the 'password' associated with your router's wireless. It is a security feature that only allows authorised computer (or other devices) to conect to your network. It is normally found in the set up pages of your routers menu. It may be written in the documentation if the router was installed for you. If you have a pc connected via wireless at the moment, it will be the same as the password entered in the network settings.

Depending on your brand of router, the only surefire way to find out what the WEP code you have (or change said code) is to connect a PC directly to it with a network cable, open your web browser and type in one of the addresses I have included below..

The setup page of the router should then appear, from which you can easily see and adjust all the settings, including WEP, SSID, etc.
