I currently own a Pioneer BDP-LX70 (original version) Blu-Ray player.
It works perfectly with all my Blu-Ray discs except... Recently I thought I'd re-watch the Spiderman trilogy. Complete failure! The things simply don't play as they should and don't get as far as the starting 'menu'. The surprising thing is that all three boxed trilogy display the exact same problem! At the moment I am playing Casino Royale, and it is behaving and playing perfectly in Blu-Ray!
I have checked all three discs for damage, scratches, and the dreaded 'rot'. Without resorting to a binocular microscope I cannot see any blemishes, discolouration or other artefacts at all. Has anybody experienced this or any ideas? I had watched the trilogy previously several times with no problems... At a loss! Andy.
