I am guessing £370 at John Lewis with a 2 year warranty. Tesco might be £350, I think I slipped up with the Play.com deal though a few weeks back.

I will check all the prices first tomorrow and decide which one to do.

I'd opened a window on my phone with that in, do you rate it Paul?

I've had one for a few years now - it's been spot on till about 2 weeks ago when wireless part of it suddenly stopped working. Have done everything bar taking it apart, but it won't create a wireless network. Have got round it by continuing to use it as the main router (to allow for all the port forwarding / firewall config I use for accessing my Synology NAS when out and about) and using my Plusnet router to create the wireless network and this works fine still.

I'm sure I'm probably unlucky in that this has gone, and it is a few years old now, but was a bit disappointed by this.

Last post was in response to Paul. Thanks for that prof. Sounds more worrying, I have almost zero network skills so wouldn't be able to do a work around. Will keep an eye on the price, if I remember. Maybe go for 40%!

Yup - should say up until that point it's been rock solid - unlike a lot of routers I've had, it rarely needed a reset (they all do at some point because they get a bit stuck sometimes), and the wireless performance was very good all around my flat.

Generally, it just worked, hence my disappointment at wireless just suddenly disappearing!

The iPad Air is down to £368 at Apple (Gel!) are you going to bite at that price or go for a John Lewis price match to get the 2 year warranty?

Cheers mate. John Lewis are already out of stock! I think I will now have to look around.

All links gratefully received. :)

If you're tempted by Apple's discounts today, remember that John Lewis will price match Apple Stores, plus they offer an extra year's warranty on iPads etc....

Thanks Clare

The only issue is that John Lewis are just about sold out of iPad air already!
