Notice on your sig you have the ClearAudio Virtuoso cartridge. What's it like?

I'm thinking of going with the Concept TT but adding the said cartridge.

The Virtuoso cart is typical Clearaudio.

Clean sound, does a nice job.

Would I buy one if I had the choice?

probably not.

There are definitely better carts out there for the money.

Try and find your old cart out, and I’ll stick a stylus in it, see if you gain anything from that.

Comparing it to a Nagaoka, the ts12 I have is a much nicer musical cart.

The only other reference I have is the 2m bronze which was on the gyro se. Biased but this sounded the best.

Cheers. If you had said it is really worthwhile, I would probably purchase one for the new table.

Don't like Ortofons, can't find any reviews of the Nago TS12. Goldring is a firm favourite and a safe choice as it stands.

The nagaoka I have is quite old, I bought it from a guy on gumtree. Unused, it has a boron cantilever and a quality stylus.

It’s probably similar to the mp300 .

There’s plenty of choice out there when it comes to carts.

Too much choice when it comes to TTs and carts. That's why I've narrowed it down and sticking with the two.
