Bi-wiring? Am I gonna mess it up?

my amp has speaker A and B output which are both marked as 4 - 16 ohms. Its also says Speaker A + B at 8 - 16 ohms. Now 3 basic questions. I am sorry if they sound stupid but as a wannabe audiphile, I guess I am entitled to some.

1. If i connect speaker A output to the "High" and Speaker B to "Low" to the same set of speakers, will that be "bi wiring"?

2. My speakers are 6 ohms, now amplifier's "Speaker A + B" says 8- 16 ohms, will that be a problem?

3. Will there be any improvement/ change? I guess this is the most important question of all as I have to buy speaker cables to do that and also run the risk of messing up something which already is pretty decent.

IMHO probably not worth the expense, bi-wiring gives very little if any improvements Save your money for some more music, beer etc.

This /  , spend the money on some music instead 😉

it is not bi-wire, I have the same amplifier with A+B working at the same time, but manual of technics SU-C3000 shows bi-wiring using to 2 power amps connected to preamp outs, one power amp working for highs and mids, other for midbass

ups,this biamping :shifty:

I'm going to go against the grain and say I have found improvements with bi-wiring. There is no right or wrong answer. Try it and see what works best with your ears
