Hi,

I have just bought a new Home Cinema Setup consisting of a Sony BDP S570 Blu-Ray player, Sony DH810 Receiver and Q Acoustics 2010 5.1

I bought the speakers separately so that I could have 2020's as front left and right and so that I could have gloss black speakers at the front with gloss white speakers (2010's) as rears.

My question is this.....

Can I attach the 2020's to both my DH810 and my Denon DM38? I want to use the Denon as a CD Player / DAB Radio but don't want to have extra speakers.

I'd like to just give it a go and see what happens but I don't want to break anything.....

Thanks guys!

Please dont try this out!

If you connect your speakers to two different sources youre going to damage the sources at least (and maybe the speakers!). Hopefully someone else will come along and verify this is a bad idea.

Connect the Denon's Aux 2 Out sockets to a spare line-in on the Sony receiver, and just connect the front left/right speakers to the Sony's front speaker outs.

If both sources were to be on at the same time the amps would be pushing against each other and the speaker would simply be a bridge. The weaker amplifier would blow within seconds.
