Firstly thanks to all those that gave advice in my now locked topic about interconnects.

http://community.whathifi.com/forums/t/367964.aspxAnd thanks especially to Home Cinema Centre who are just along the road from me who did a great deal on some Chord Crimson interconnects since they couldn't offer anything in my more budget pricerange, great!

Anyway, it's payday tomorrow and I was wondering what the thoughts were on some proper Bi Wire links for the back of my speakers such as the Chord Signature Links http://www.chord.co.uk/chordweb/chord_signature_biwire_links.htm rather than the standard bi wire links that came with them, the speakers are Monitor Audio BR2s with Chord Carnival Silverscreen cable. I have seen them available on Ebay at around the £40 mark.

It is a bit of over kill for your speakers etc. Just cut down a bit of your existing speaker cable, and use this instead of the bi-wire links. It is like making jumper cables for the rear, to do the same job as the more expensive ones. It will cost nothing (if you don't have banana plugs soldered on), and will sound just as good.

We all do it instead of spending the £40. You can then have a few beers instead....
