have a few quotes from different people ... am still checking and not rushing ... some have said dont fix it if it aint broke ... they say if you recap, you will most prob alter the sound produced

so may just send it in for a clean/service and reset to factory spec and not recap ... am also looking at changing the speaker terminals to the standard gold plated standard banana type

P.S. The Thelma Houston album is from 1975 and if you ever get offered a copy on vinyl (unlikely) or CD (more likely) don't hesitate to grab it with both hands.
